November 2012 - Antelope Valley Desert Divers, Palmdale, CA - RisingTides "Expedition 2010 Overview" slideshow and discussion

January 2013 - Collected and shipped two large boxes of clothing and supplies for the children and school in Malua Bay, Vanuatu. The package arrived five months later and the children were very grateful for our generosity especially when they saw the cost of shipping from the USA.

June 2013 - Public Group, Pasadena, CA - RisingTides "Basic Radio Operations and Emergency Prepardness" Slideshow and hands on training

September 2013 - Antelope Valley Desert Divers, Palmdale, CA - RisingTides "Emergency Communications in a Mayday Situation" hands on emergency communication drills. Description and Presenter Bio

April 2014 - Antelope Valley Amateur Radio Club, Lancaster, CA - RisingTides "Expedition 2010 Technical Challanges" slideshow and discussion

May 2014 - Antelope Valley Desert Divers, Palmdale, CA - RisingTides "Wrecks and Reefs of the South Pacific" slideshow and discussion

August 2014 - TVT Ambassadors, Fountain Valley, CA - Presentation by Evan Bozanic on being the youngest person to dive all seven continents and the charities they supported in each of the seven locations.

September 2014 - Animal Tracks, Acton, CA - Toured animal rescue facility and donated to their cause as we tried to see what knowledge they have that could be of use to the islanders.

October 2014 - Sierra Amateur Radio Club, Ridgecrest, CA - Formal presentation tailored for the Sierra Ammateur Radio Club as well as the general public. There was a slide presentation on the expedition and on the role Amateur Radio plays in the daily lives of the islanders, expedition team members, and those back home. The presentation was well received to a full house.

May 2016 - Acton Agua Dulce Library, CA -  RisingTides provided a formal presentation to the local community at large. The event was held in the Meeting Room of the Acton Agua Dulce Library to a full house of seventy. The primary presentation was on our South Pacific Expedition with an open discussion on what individules can do to protect their environment and set a good example for others. The "Think Globably and Act Locally" message was also shared to the enthustic audence. The event was covered in the local newspaper and many positive comments were received over the following months.

October 2018 - Rotary Club International Woodland Hills - Presentation on our South Pacific Expedition with focus on humantarian projects that sucessful over the long term. This included our observations on what made a differance and how we helped provid skills and knowledge instead of things.

March 2019 - Te Ara The Cook Islands Museum of Cultural Enterprise - While in the Rarotonga on vacation risingTides Members stopped in to the museum and had a very interesting conversation with Stan Wolfgramm who is one of the founders.
